This is the first game for the troll-pushed seige towers of Mordor (played by Padraig Bracken). In this photo they are fighting Haradrim archers and Mumakil.

Cian Merne concentrating on his game. This was Cian's first DBM competition and he used the Noldor list.

This image shows the Mordor WWg fighting Noldor archers and blades. Note also the spikey Mordor TF on the right.

Here's a shot of Gondorian Knights assisted by Giant Eagle allies fighting Rohirim knights.

Yet another shot of those pesky war wagons. This time they are being assaulted by the Uruk-Hai of Orthanc. Despite being surrounded they still refused to die! Note the large pile of dead Mordor troops in the upper right corner, these Orc-based armies have large numbers of EEs which makes them tough.

Obviously these light horse were keen to sack this baggage! The figures are Turkomans and they are standing in for Noldor horse archers.

A close-up of Gothmog supported by some trolls (top left)... but what is he doing fighting in the rough? He was eventually destroyed by the human forces surrounding him (Easterlings?).

This panoramic shot gives an idea of how intimidating the Angband army looks on the tabletop with dragons (El(X)), trolls (Ps-backed Bd(S)) and a Balrog (Ps-backed Bd(S)) in the front line. In this picture the trolls and Gothmog have been charged by Northmen knights (Kn(F)). It didn't go well for the knights!
