About Dublin Games Guild

Who are we?

The Dublin Games Guild (DGG) is an informal group of gamers (wargames, boardgames, roleplaying, card games) who meet every Wednesday in Dublin city centre. New members are always welcome. For directions on how to find us and a map see below.

What do we play?

We will play pretty much anything. A short list of what is currently popular, or has been popular in the past is:

* Fantasy Miniatures (Warhammer, Hordes, Warmachine)
* SciFi Miniatures (WH40K, Warzone)
* Ancient Miniatures (DBMM, FOG, WHAB)

DBMM at Dublin Games Guild

DBMM is well established at DGG and you will find a few games being played each and every meeting (generally we are in the basement playing area of Models Inc). It is not generally necessary to pre-book the tables with Martin, the Models Inc shop owner. However to be sure of getting a game it pays to set up an opponent the week beforehand. To make this easier there is now an online booking system for DBMM games on our web page here.

1st round draw of DGG Winter League

Here is the 1st round pairings for the league.

Note that the seedings (ranked by player number) are based on glicko ratings calculated for strongbow and the brian boru (I don't have all the riniwa league results yet). They are a bit random but in the end I went with them as the only thing I could do better (given events at the BB) was totally random and theres not much difference :-)

#Player Number, Last Name, First Name(current score), Last Game Score, Rating, Army List Date, Army List, Club, Country
#--- Game 1, Table 101 -------------
