20th February 2004:
Important!
Due to circumstances beyond our control there will be no DGG meetings on the 25th of February, the 5th of March and the 17th of March.

24th July 2003:
There is now an online booking system set up for DBM players. Details can be found here on our DBM page. Please note, this was set up by the DBM players for use with their regularly booked tables. To book a table for any other purpose you still need to talk to Dave or Neil on Wednesday.

25th April 2003:
Important!
There will be no DGG meeting on the 30th of April because our booking has been bumped by the Teachers Club. We will be back as usual on the 7th of May.

6th February 2003:

News! Table prices at the club are set to increase. This is because our rent at the Teacher's Club is going to increase. The good news is that when we start paying the new rent (June) we will be guaranteed the big hall at the teacher's club (currently we only get it if it's not booked by someone else).

News! Eric Nolan has decided to run a DBM Knockout league at DGG. This will be played on a 1 game per month basis. Contact Eric for more information.

The website has moved, we are now on iworg.com, the Irish Wargaming Homepage. As part of the move I have also done some restructuring, such as splitting off WEST onto its own page. This work is bound to have resulted in some broken links, if you find any please mail me.

News! DGG will be hosting a 200AP DBM Competition on Aug 11th. For details see the "Upcoming Rated Competitions" section of the RINIWA DBM Ratings Page.

There is now a map showing the new location of DGG meetings (the Teachers Club, No.36 Parnell Sq.), it is available here.

News! There is a new location for DGG meetings, it is number 36 Parnell Square, in Club na Muinteoiri (the teachers social club). This is a blue door - just press the buzzer to gain admitance. All DGG meetings from the 4th of July will be held there. Meetings are on Wednesday nights as before.

News! Some good news about DGG meetings. I'm happy to say that DGG has had a reprieve for the next 2 weeks ie there will be meetings at the IERNE ballroom on the 20th + 26th of June. We are working on new arrangements for following weeks but it is fairly certain that there will be no more Wednesday meetings at the IERNE Ballroom. Watch this space for more info.

News! DGG have learned this week that their venue in the IERNE Ballroom will be no longer be available on Wednesday nights. This is effective immediately. DGG meetings at the IERNE Ballroom are cancelled until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience caused but we were only notified of this change at last night's meeting. More information on future meetings will be made available on this site as soon as possible.

News! The rumoured DBM comp at Q-Con this year has been confirmed! It is a 4 round, all lists, 400AP competition. For more info mail Arnaud Marmier (a.marmier@qub.ac.uk). You must register for Q-Con to participate.  See the Q-Con page for more details on registering ( http://quis.qub.ac.uk/ds/qconhow.html). NOTE: The DBM competition is not listed on the official form, you must add it youself, entry costs £1 in addition to Q-Con entry. Your army list must be sent for checking to Arnaud Marmier by June 25th.

News! The DGG DBM League started last night with 3 games being played. All players will be ranked using David Young's DBM Glicko ranking software.

News! DGG will be having a "Bring and Buy" night on the 25th April at the normal DGG meeting. Finally a chance to get rid of any unwanted games material you have knocking around the house. Miniatures, board games, rpgs, cards, computer games, whatever! Bring it down and try to find a buyer. Non-members of DGG are also welcome to attend.

News! The Dublin Games Guild is organising a 1-day min-convention during the summer. This would take the form of a DBM competition (probably 4 x 200AP games), A Warhammer competition and perhaps some other games events. If your are interested in learning more, attending or helping us, email Rob Brennan / Dave Clifford or come down to one of our meetings and talk to us.
