On 24th to the 25th January 2009, the Munster Wargames Group will be holding a 400 AP DBMM competition in Cork.

The competition is held as part of the University College Cork, Warpcon convention and more details can be found on www.warpcon.com on the convention in general. This includes some suggestions regarding travel and accomodation. However if anyone wants other advice please feel free to contact us.

The competition itself will be 400 AP, played to the current version of the DBMM rules, with the guidelines for general play etc from the DBMM commentary. There will be two games on the Saturday, and two on the Sunday. Scoring as per the DBMM Rule Book.

Armies are to be 400 AP with the following restriction - they can be chosen from either exisiting DBM Book 1 or DBMM Book 2 (and with a bit of luck DBMM Book 1) with the restriction of 500 BC to 476 AD i.e. all armies must be chosen with options available within these dates. Army lists will need to be submitted by 9th January 2009.
