Etc/GMT+1

Competition Date: March 27th
List deadline: March 13th
Cost:15euro for RINIWA members or overseas visitors, 17euro for non-members.
For 2011 we will play 3 x 315AP rounds of DBMM played on 200AP sized tables (120x80cm) with pre-set terrain.
• DBMM v2.0 will be used
• It is an open event so any army list can be used.
• DBM200 deployment rules will be used (distances from edges etc).
• The preset terrain will not be published beforehand but will consist of tables laid out in a ratio of 1 open, 2 medium, 1 dense terrain generated according to the DBMM200 Terrain rules.
• A dense board will be one where the nominal "defender" has maximised Difficult Going (DGo) and the nominal "attacker" has put down a river/sea/WW or a 1FE piece of DGo to protect their flank.
• A medium board will have the "defender" pick a mix of DGo/Rough going (Rgo) and the "attacker" takes Good Going (GGo) and/or Rd
• An open board is one where the "defender" picked GGo and/or Rd and the attacker picked RGo/DGo/Rv
• The boards will all be numbered. The top table game will be randomly allocated to one of the boards and move down from this board to the highest numbered board that the leading player has not yet played on. The subsequent games will be allocated sequentially, wrapping around to table 1 on reaching the last table, with no regard to later players having played on boards before.
• The defender will choose their preferred side of the board
• The game will take place in the defender's climate and weather and time of day are determined normally, although they may be ignored if both players agree to do so.
• All games will be 2.5 hours +/- 10 mins as determined by the umpire.
• Game end procedure: when the umpire calls time, all players immediately stop play and proceed to the end phase of the current bound, determine if any commands have been disheartened or broken and if any army has broken and then determine scores.
• Base-mats and pre-set terrain will be provided.
• The draw will be a seeded swiss based on the current DBMM glicko ratings (http://www.dbmm.org.uk/rankings/). As far as possible, no players from the same region will be drawn against each other in the first round.
• In the case of tied scores for podium positions, then the first tie-break will be scores in a mutual game and then sum of opponent's scores and finally random.
• No traveling player will be asked to take a bye.
