Joining RINIWA |
|
| Who can join?
Any resident of Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland that is at least 16 years old can join. We also accept applications from Irish or Northern Irish players who are resident overseas. Other applications from overseas residents will be considered on a case by case basis. Under our constitution applications have to be approved by the Management Committee before they are accepted. How do I join ? Simply fill in the membership form and post it to the Secretary at 51 Tyrconnell Rd, Inchicore, Dublin 8. Unfortunately we need a physical copy with your signature on it. Membership forms will be available at forthcoming DBM competitions in Ireland to make this process easier. How much does it cost? It is currently free to join RINIWA, however this may change in the future to a nominal sum. What is the benefit of joining? The most obvious benefit is the ability to vote in RINIWA meetings and stand for the RINIWA committee. However one of the main reasons for forming RINIWA is to enable us to join the International Wargames Federation. This will entitle us to representation in the bodies of the IWF and thus the ability to influence IWF policy. In addition the committee will work to secure discounts for RINIWA members on events and services in Ireland. We are glad to announce that Tony Matassa of Friekorp Miniatures has agreed to give a 10% discount to RINIWA members on sales of miniatures only totaling £10 or more (P&P is not discounted). |
